ABOUT US
Discover Our Mission
“I’m a person just like everybody else. I care about my community. I get up every morning, work hard, and want to make sure my family is safe and everyone else’s family is safe.”
For more than two decades, Gus Gregory has worked in law enforcement and public safety.
His experience includes working within correctional facilities, jails and community-based law enforcement. That experience has taught him that protecting a community isn't only about responding after something happens.
It is also about preparation, awareness, communication and prevention.
That philosophy became the foundation for Gus Gotcha.
Gus Gotcha is about providing practical safety information people can actually use from helping families recognize unusual activity to encouraging stronger neighborhood communication and helping businesses and event organizers think more strategically about security.
OUR INITIATIVES
Protecting What Matters Most
Safety begins with preparation.
Whether you're protecting your family, neighborhood, business, church or event, having a plan before an emergency occurs can make a significant difference.
Gus encourages families and organizations to think about questions such as:

Participate in our workshops designed to empower community members with skills and knowledge. From leadership training to creative arts, learn and grow with us.
Awareness Can Prevent Problems Before They Escalate
Being aware means understanding what is normal in your environment and recognizing when something has changed.
That doesn't mean assuming every unfamiliar person is a threat.
It means paying attention to behavior, circumstances and activity that genuinely seem unusual.
